Choose Your Attitude Wisely
I came across a short video that fits perfectly with what Spreading The Luv is all about.
It is a story about a man who was having one of those frustrating travel days.
He was late. His flight was delayed. Then delayed again. By the time he finally reached his destination, he was tired, irritated, and in no mood for anything cheerful.
Then he got on a rental car shuttle bus.
And there was the bus driver.
Happy.
Singing.
Full of life.
Bringing joy into a place where most people were probably tired, frustrated, and just wanting to get where they were going.
At first, the man telling the story was annoyed by the driver’s happiness.
Isn’t that interesting?
Sometimes when we are in a bad mood, even someone else’s joy can irritate us.
But then something happened.
That bus driver’s attitude began to change the atmosphere.
Little by little, the frustration started to break.
Before the ride was over, the same man who had been annoyed was standing on the bus, singing along.
Think about that.
One man chose how he was going to show up.
He could have been just another tired, bored, irritated worker doing his job.
But he chose differently.
He chose joy.
He chose to bring something good into the lives of the people around him.
And because of that, he changed the way someone else felt.
That is powerful.
That is what spreading the luv looks like in real life.
Not always in big dramatic moments.
Sometimes it happens on a shuttle bus.
Sometimes it happens at work.
Sometimes it happens in a store, in traffic, in a waiting room, or in your own home.
The point is this:
Your attitude affects the atmosphere around you.
What you carry into a room matters.
What you bring into someone else’s day matters.
The way you show up matters.
That bus driver may not have changed the whole world that day.
But he changed somebody’s world in that moment.
And sometimes that is where real change begins.
One person.
One attitude.
One choice.
One moment of joy spreading to someone else.
Watch the video below, and as you do, ask yourself:
What kind of attitude do I bring into the lives of others?

And ask yourself this also:
Am I spreading frustration?
Or am I spreading something better?
Because hate spreads.
But love can spread too.
Stand up in the fight against hate. Choose to spread the luv!
Choose your attitude wisely. You never know whose day it may change.
