Pay It Forward... Then Keep Going

Pay It Forward... Every Day

Most people are familiar with the movie Pay It Forward.

It was built on a simple idea: do something good for three people, and instead of them paying you back, they pass that good on to three more people.

It was a great idea.

In fact, it was more than a great idea. It was a picture of how change can spread from one person to another.

But what if we stopped thinking of it as just a movie idea?

What if we made it real?

And what if we took it even further?

What if we did not limit it to just three people?

What if we made it a daily mission?

That is where Spreading The Luv comes in.

Because this is not about doing one nice thing once in a while and then going back to life as usual.

This is about making a decision.

A decision to live differently.

A decision to become the kind of person who spreads love wherever they go.

Not just to three people.

Not just when it feels easy.

Not just when it is convenient.

But every day, with the people you cross paths with.

Your family.
Your neighbors.
Your co-workers.
The people in line behind you.
The cashier at the store.
The person who makes your food.
The stranger who looks worn down.
The person who is rude to you.
Even the person you would rather avoid.

Why?

Because hate already has enough people helping it spread.

That is the truth.

It spreads through harsh words.
It spreads through selfishness.
It spreads through bitterness.
It spreads through anger, coldness, and disrespect.
It spreads when people stop caring how they affect one another.

And because it spreads, it keeps multiplying.

One rude word can shape the whole mood of a room.
One bitter attitude can poison a whole conversation.
One hateful action can leave a mark that keeps traveling.

That is how hate moves.

But love can move too.

Kindness can move too.
Mercy can move too.
Patience can move too.

And when those things move through a person consistently, not just occasionally, they start changing the atmosphere around them.

That is why this cannot just be a nice thought.

It has to become a way of life.

A mission.

A habit.

A choice you make on purpose.

Not just when you feel like it.

But because you know the world needs it.

That is what I think the idea of Pay It Forward was really pointing to.

Not just one act.

Not just one chain.

But the possibility that one person choosing to do good can start something bigger than they realize.

So why stop at three?

Why not live this way every day?

Why not make it your mission to spread the luv everywhere you go?

Why not be the person who interrupts the cycle of hate instead of helping it continue?

Why not become the kind of person you want to see more of in this world?

Because that is how real change happens.

Not all at once.

Not through big speeches.

Not through waiting for society to fix itself.

But one person at a time.
One act at a time.
One choice at a time.

That is how the world changes.

And if enough people decide to live that way, then what began as a movie idea becomes something much bigger.

It becomes real.

It becomes visible.

It becomes contagious.

It becomes a movement.

So yes, Pay It Forward was a powerful idea.

But Spreading The Luv is about taking that same kind of idea off the screen and turning it into daily life.

Not just for three people.

For everyone you can.

Every day you can.

As often as you can.

Because hate is spreading every day.

So love must be spread on purpose.

A Final Thought

Do not just admire the idea of love.

Live it.

Do not just talk about kindness.

Spread it.

Do not wait for the world to become better first.

Help make it better.

Make it your mission.

Make it your habit.

Make it part of who you are.

Because hate spreads.

But love can spread too.

Stand up in the fight against hate. Choose to spread the luv!

A Movie Worth Watching

The movie Pay It Forward captured a powerful idea: one act of kindness can keep moving from person to person and become something much bigger than anyone expected.

That idea fits perfectly with what Spreading The Luv is about.

Not just doing one good thing once in a while.

But making kindness, love, mercy, and compassion part of the way we live every day.

If you have never watched the movie, or if it has been many years since you have seen it, I invite you to watch it and think about this question:

What would happen if more of us stopped waiting for the world to change and started spreading the luv on purpose?

If you watch the movie, please come back here and share your thoughts in the comments.

I read through many of the comments on YouTube, and what I saw encouraged me.

There are a lot of people who are tired of the hate in this world.

There are a lot of people who still prefer love over hate.

And reading those comments reminded me that this mission may be even more important than I first realized.

So if the movie speaks to you, I would love to hear what stood out to you.

I look forward to reading your comments.
